I have nearly always had great success with Fay Ripley's recipes however I was a little disappointed in this one. Bubble and squeak is a traditional English dish made with the shallow-fried leftover vegetables from a roast dinner. It is very rare that I cook a recipe that I don't really love - being such a piglet I like eating pretty much everything.
